The Arena Breakout Season 5 update arrives on July 25. We've prepared some frequently asked questions below to ensure a smooth transition.
Q1: How long will the server be offline for the update?
A1: Matchmaking stops on July 23 at 23:00 (UTC+0). The server is scheduled to be offline on July 25 from 00:00 until 10:00 (UTC+0). We'll sync the actual time via official announcements on our socials.
Q2: Will I need to change installation packages for this update?
A2: Yes. Please follow the prompt on the old client, or visit the app store in your region, to install the new version.
Q3: What rewards will I get for completing the S5 update?
A3: Complete the update between July 25 – July 28 and log in to claim 60 coins. From July 25–28 only, you can claim a Universal Key from the Events page. This key can open any room (except for rooms that require cards).
Q4: Will the iOS and Android servers re-open at the same time?
A4: Yes.
Q5: Why does it say that the installer is not compatible with my device/CPU after downloading?
A5: Some lower-performance models are not compatible with the game. Examples: Android 5.1 and below; OpenGL below 3.1; 2 GB of RAM or less; devices with 32-bit CPUs. The following devices are also not compatible: Redmi Note 4, Samsung Galaxy J7+, and Huawei M3. Try switching devices, or go to the official website (https://arenabreakout.com/) for more information on supported models.
Q6: After completing the update, the game lags and my device overheats. How can I make it run smoother?
A6:
1. Try closing all background processes, restarting the game, and restarting your mobile phone.
2. Check whether your device has sufficient battery and whether low-power mode is turned on. Some devices can experience lags or reduced frame rates when they have low battery or while they are being charged.
3. Check that your signal is good, or try switching network operators.
4. Reduce graphics quality or frame rate.
Q7: What are the sizes for this update? How much space do I need on my device?
A7:
1. Android (Standard): The installer is 971 MB. Players can also choose to download the HD resource pack if they want to via the Download Center in Settings. The different resource packs are:
Standard Resource Pack (default), 758 MB: Smooth graphics quality; less storage space required.
HD Resource Pack, 1.6 GB: Higher-resolution graphics; recommended if you have sufficient storage.
In-game map resources are about 2 GB. To download all of the resources, we recommend that you reserve at least 10 GB of memory.
2. iOS: The installer is 2.68 GB. The startup download is about 2.56 GB, and in-game map resources are about 2.2 GB. We recommend you reserve at least 10 GB of memory.
3. Android (Lite): The installer is 533 MB. The startup download is about 906 MB, and in-game map resources are about 829 MB. We recommend that you reserve at least 6 GB of memory.
