Dear Player:
We've been paying close attention to your combat feedback and game data. We've noticed two areas where the current firearm balance needs improvement: ARs are too strong in long-range engagements, while Shotguns have too much of an advantage over other firearm types in close-quarters combat. To some extent, this affects the strategic diversity and combat balance of firearm combinations. To fine-tune core firearm attributes and enhance the combat experience, we've made the following targeted adjustments:
●AR Damage Attenuation Adjustment: Reduces damage dealt by Rifles at long range, decreasing evenly with firing distance.
●Reduced pellet damage of main weapon shotguns, including: DBS, M1014, S12K, S1897, S686, and NS2000.
●Improved the firing stability of designated marksman rifles: Increased the firing stability of the SKS, SLR, and MK14 firearms.
●Firearm bullet velocity decay: The longer a bullet fired from a firearm flies, the more its velocity decreases, slightly affecting aiming prediction for long-range enemies.
●Add a Magazine slot attachment to the Famas, which can equip an Extended/Quickdraw/Extended Quickdraw/Mini Drum Mag for Rifles.
With the above adjustments, we hope to further clarify the differences in the optimal combat ranges of different firearm types and inject richer strategic variations into the mainstream "AR + SMG/Shotgun" grouped object!
Additionally, we noticed an issue in the previous Beta Test version where the AR damage falloff calculation was incorrect, resulting in lower than expected overall Damage. In Beta Test version 4, we've Repaired the related bug.Welcome to the Beta Test 4 for this update. We look forward to receiving your valuable feedback. We will continue to listen to your voices, iterate and optimize continuously, and do our best to create a more enjoyable and strategic Battle Royale shooting experience!
