After continuous tech improvements, V4.0 will introduce a range of enhancements aimed at delivering a smoother and more stable gaming experience for you. Key updates include:

I. Frame Rate Improvements

1.Added the Super Smooth graphics setting. (Available on all devices in V4.0. Previously only available on select devices for beta testing.)

☆ Higher Available Frame Rates on Some Devices:

◇ Medium (25 FPS) → High (30 FPS)

◇ High (30 FPS) → Ultra (40 FPS)

◇ Ultra (40 FPS) → Extreme (50–60 FPS)

☆ Additional Details: Performance may vary on different devices. Improved frame rates are only available on select devices. For devices without visible frame rate improvements, enabling Super Smooth graphics will improve frame stability, reduce lag, minimize overheating, and lower power consumption.

☆ How to Enable

◇ Method 1: Settings - Graphics - Customize (under Graphics Preference) - Super Smooth (under Graphics).

◇ Method 2: Settings - Graphics - Better Frame Rate (under Graphics Preference) - Enable Super Smooth.

2.RHI Thread Optimization: Improved the frame rate on various devices by 1–2 frames (gradual rollout in V4.0).

3.High Frame Rate Availability: More devices now support 90 and 120 FPS.

II. Reduced Lag, Heat, and Power Consumption

1.We've significantly reduced the game's performance load with the addition of the Super Smooth graphics option, along with terrain optimization, asynchronous texture streaming, file system improvements, and better memory allocation, resulting in smoother gameplay:

☆ Reduced Lag:

◇ Reduced lag by 10–30% on average.

◇ Some devices using Super Smooth graphics perform even better, reducing lag by 30–50%.

☆ Less Overheating:

◇ Device temperatures after two consecutive matches are 1–2°C cooler than before, and are 10% less likely to throttle from overheating.

◇ Some devices using Super Smooth graphics are 2–4°C cooler and experience 15% less throttling from overheating.

☆ Lower Power Consumption:

◇ Super Smooth graphics is 10% less intensive on the CPU and GPU, and reduces power draw by 5–7%.

III. Faster Downloads & Smaller File Sizes

1、Faster Downloads: From the start of 2025 until now, we've continuously improved CDN download speeds through SDK updates, improved sharding, parameter adjustments, and more.

☆ Compared to the beginning of the year, the game's resource packs can be downloaded on average 50–100% faster, and in some cases up to 200%!

2、File Size Control: As the game's content continues to grow, so does its file size. Our team has dedicated significant effort to precise resource compression, structural optimization, and redundancy cleanup to prevent ongoing file size increases while maintaining game quality.

☆ Android Update: V4.0's Android update file size is 50–150 MB smaller than that of V3.9 (applicable to devices without PUBG MOBILE already installed). Results may vary slightly depending on the device, channel, and update method.
