The update of Sonic Breakthrough Season 5 will be released on July 25th. We've prepared a few frequently asked questions to ensure a smooth transition.
Question 1: How long will the server pause for updates? Answer 1: The pairing process will stop at 23:00 on July 23 (UTC+0). The server is expected to be suspended on April 25, from 00:00 to 10:00 (UTC+0). We will update the situation in real time through official announcements on social media sites.
Q2: Do I need to change the installation package for this update? Answer 2: Yes. Please follow the prompts in the legacy client app, or visit the app store in your region to install the latest version.
Q3: What rewards will I receive for completing the S5 update? Answer 3: Complete the update between 25/07 - 28/07 and log in to claim 60 coins. From July 25 - 28, you can get a Universal Key from the Events page. This key can open any room (except those that require a card).
Question 4: Do iOS and Android servers reopen at the same time? Answer 4: Yes.
Q5: After downloading, why am I getting a message that the installer is not compatible with my device/CPU? Answer 5: Some lower-performance devices are not compatible with games. Examples: Android 5.1 or lower devices; OpenGL below 3.1; 2 GB RAM or less; devices with 32-bit CPUs. The following devices are also not compatible: Redmi Note 4, Samsung Galaxy J7+ and Huawei M3. Please try exchanging devices or visit the official website (https://arenabreakout.com/) for more information on supported device models.
Question 6: After the update is complete, the game lags and my machine overheats. What do I have to do to make the game run better? Answer 6:1. Try closing all background apps, restarting the game, and restarting your mobile phone.2. Check if your device has enough battery and has low power mode turned on. Some devices may experience lag or frame rate drops when the battery is low or charging.3. Check if your signal is good or try switching carriers.4. Reduce graphics quality or frame rate.
Question 7: How much does this update weigh? How much space do I need to leave on my device? Answer 7:1. Android (Standard): The installer is 971 MB. Players can also choose to download the HD resource pack if desired, via the Download Center in Settings. The different resource plans include: Standard Resource Pack (default), 758 MB: Smooth Graphics Quality; consumes less storage space. HD Resource Pack, 1.6 GB: Higher Resolution Graphics; should load if you have enough storage space. The map resources in the game weigh about 2 GB. To load all the resources, in our opinion, you should leave at least 10 GB of free memory.
2. iOS: The installer has a capacity of 2.68 GB. The download at startup is about 2.56 GB, and the in-game map resources weigh about 2.2 GB. In our opinion, you should leave at least 10 GB of free storage.
3. Android (Lite): The installer has a capacity of 533 MB. The download at startup is about 906 MB, and the in-game map resources weigh around 829 MB. In our opinion, you should leave at least 6 GB of memory free.
