To give everyone a better gaming experience, Version 4.7's second beta test is scheduled for October 10. Try the new themed mode and receive a random Glyph skill at the start of each match for a fresh experience each time. The new Aurora Pegasus themed vehicle swiftly takes you across the skies, and a new Canted Foregrip weapon attachment is also available. Plus, a new mode, Erangel Subzero, is coming soon with new mechanics and locations to explore.

Character Abilities
Active - Aurora Flashstep: Usable across the entire map. Harness the power of the aurora to gain a double jump and a short dash.
● You will have a higher chance of obtaining a Lv. 2 or 3 skill in the themed mode after collecting a certain amount of Power Feathers.
Glyph Skill Mechanics
● Glyph Skill Distribution: At the start of the match, the system grants each player a random passive skill. Some players will also randomly receive the Aurora Pegasus item.
● Glyph Altar: Multiple will spawn across the map, and you can interact with them to randomly obtain a new passive skill.
● Seize Glyph Skills: When a player has two Glyph skills, they will drop one of them at random when eliminated. Loot the player's crate to get the dropped Glyph skill.
Glyph Skill Effects
● Glyph Skill - Tactical Shield: When Health falls below a certain threshold, a shield is automatically generated for protection. When downed, a small shield can also be used to block shots. At higher levels, this skill gets a higher Health threshold for triggering the shield, and improved durability and duration of both the shield and small shield when downed.
● Glyph Skill - Faster Healing: Use healing consumables faster, and rescue downed teammates faster. At higher levels, this skill lets players heal and rescue teammates even faster.
● Glyph Skill - Quick Reload: Reload and weapon switch speed increase with the skill's level.
● Glyph Skill - Supply Detection: Picking up supplies triggers a high-quality supply scan. The scan range increases with the skill's level.
● Glyph Skill - Armor Repair: Recover armor durability by moving around. At a higher levels, this skill recovers armor durability faster and increases the maximum durability restored each time the skill takes effect.
● Glyph Skill - Air Drop Prediction: Learn where an air drop will spawn some time before it actually lands. After the air drop is opened, the location notice disappears. At higher levels, the skill has a shorter cooldown and provides an advance warning window.
About Glyph Skills
● There are Lv. 1–3 versions of all Glyph skills. Higher-level skills are significantly more effective.
● High-level skills can only be obtained randomly and cannot be upgraded during the match.
● At the start of the match, all players have a high chance to get a Lv. 1 skill, and a lower chance to get a Lv. 2 or 3 skill.
Themed Vehicle
● Aurora Pegasus: An exclusive aerial and ground vehicle that can be summoned, recalled, or left on the battleground at any time. Ride the Pegasus on the ground and take flight with a double jump. While flying, you can hover, or flap its wings to get higher. Upon entering the Aurora Zone, the Pegasus will resonate with the aurora, causing its appearance and flight performance to change.

Erangel Subzero
Introduction: During a clandestine experiment, a catastrophic failure sent multiple Tythonic satellites crashing down onto Erangel. The impact ruptured the satellites and released cryogenic gas, which soon spread across the island. The Blue Zone was not spared from its influence, and Erangel’s climate began to warp under the growing chill. The crash sites froze over, and the island soon found itself gripped by sudden, severe changes in weather.
● Area Updates:
✧ Stalber: Stalber was once a place where magnetic field experiments were conducted, but the cryogenic gas leaked from the fallen satellite has frozen everything here.
✧ Shelter: Shelter was once Tythonic's secret warehouse for storing satellites, and has now also become one of the satellite crash sites. Rumor has it that satellites containing rare supplies have appeared in some areas, including here.
✧ Sosnovka Military Base & Boatyard: Freezing effects caused by the cryogenic gas from the crashed satellite.
✧ Others:
➢ The bridge leading to Sosnovka Military Base was struck by a satellite, causing partial collapse.
➢ The plains in southwestern Erangel have also undergone huge changes.
➢ Due to the sharp drop in temperature, some waters are covered with ice.
Gameplay
● Dynamic Weather:
✧ Erangel will feature dynamic weather, randomly changing between 4 weather types over time. The entire map will always be clear on initial landing and during the Final Playzone.
✧ In snow-covered areas, blizzards may appear. Blizzards affect visibility and inflict a slight slowing debuff on players in the area.
✧ During a blizzard, destroyed snow piles will regenerate.
● Satellite Crash:
✧ A special air drop that may contain the mode-exclusive Thermal Protection Suit.
✧ During a match, satellites will crash randomly four times, accompanied by several small Blue Zone devices.
✧ Players will be notified before it falls. After the Blue Zone device hits the ground, it will generate a smaller Blue Zone.
✧ There are five sites where satellites may have already hit Erangel before the match begins. Each has a chance to appear at the start of the match, and each satellite may or may not spawn.
● Frozen Doors:
✧ At the start of the match, some building doors and windows in blizzard conditions will be frozen shut.
✧ Frozen windows can be faintly seen through, but cannot be directly climbed through. Breaking the ice will create an icy mist.
✧ Frozen doors cannot be opened or closed. They can only be destroyed to pass through them, which will also create an icy mist.
✧ Use a Liquid Nitrogen Tank to freeze unfrozen doors and windows.
● Destructible Snow Piles:
✧ Due to extreme cold weather and snowfall, snow piles will appear on the map.
✧ Snow piles can be destroyed by vehicles, but they can also be reinforced with Liquid Nitrogen Tanks into frozen snow piles, which cannot be destroyed by vehicles.
● Thermal Protection Suit: An item exclusively obtained from a satellite. It takes up the Ghillie Suit slot and is mutually exclusive with it. Inside the Blue Zone, it grants immunity to Blue Zone damage at the cost of losing durability. Once its durability is depleted, it loses the effect of shielding the wearer from Blue Zone damage.
● BZ Grenade: A special Small Blue Zone-generating device whose Blue Zone effect can stack with the map's Blue Zone. After the pin is pulled and the countdown reaches zero, a Blue Zone expands outward from its position. The Blue Zone will reach a maximum size and last a while before reversing and shrinking until it disappears.
● Liquid Nitrogen Tank: In this mode, Molotov Cocktails are removed and replaced with Liquid Nitrogen Tanks. Liquid Nitrogen Tanks damage enemies faster than Molotov Cocktails, but deal lower damage. After exploding, a Liquid Nitrogen Tank rapidly spreads a patch of frost. Players standing on the frost continuously take damage and are slowed.
● Snow Mist Ammo: Special smoke ammo for the pistol slot, fired with a Grenade Launcher. It is snow-mist colored, deploys smoke faster after being triggered, and the snow mist also dissipates faster.
● Snowboard: Use a Snowboard to move quickly on Vikendi and icy surfaces.
Vehicle & Weapon Adjustments
● Classic Vehicles: The Snowmobile and Snowbike have been added to Erangel Subzero.
● Classic Weapon: The G36C has been added to Erangel Subzero.
● Classic vehicles in Erangel Subzero have anti-skid tires, providing relatively stable handling when moving on ice.
