Dear Players: Version 4.4's third beta test will be available on April 16. Sniper rifles have been buffed in Classic Mode, with shots that no longer weaken over distance, and cause additional wear to armor on hit, making them more formidable at medium to long ranges. Assault rifles, shotguns, the Panzerfaust, and other weapons have been finely tuned for a more defined combat pace with tactical variety. Metro Royale also gets new soccer-themed sellable items and new collectibles.

Classic Mode Updates

Firearm & Item Adjustments

● Balance Adjustments:

✧ Sniper Rifles (Enhanced):

➢ New Attribute 1: Shot damage no longer decreases with distance.

➢ New Attribute 2: Shots cause additional wear to armor.

➢ This change applies to both single-shot sniper rifles and designated marksman rifles.

✧ Shotguns (Weakened):

➢ Shots cause less wear to armor.

➢ Increased shotgun damage drop-off.

✧ Assault Rifles (Adjusted):

➢ Higher damage at close to medium range, but lower damage at medium to long range (M16A4 and Mk47 are unaffected).

✧ Panzerfaust (Adjusted):

➢ Increased explosion range (lethal range unchanged), but reduced backblast damage and range.

➢ Substantially increased damage to vehicles.

● Weapon Spawn Adjustment:

✧ Panzerfaust:

➢ Available on 4 Maps: Erangel, Miramar, Rondo, and Vikendi.

➢ How to Obtain: Rarely found on the ground, chance to obtain from air drops, or purchased from an in-match supply shop.

✧ JS9: Added to Classic Mode maps as ground loot.

System Update

● Improved Backpack Item Sorting: Items in the Backpack are now sorted, with identical items grouped together.

● Improved Attachment Icons: Icons for some attachments (Muzzle Brake, Ergonomic Foregrip, Mini Drum Mag, Barrel Extender) have been improved to better match the theme.
