As the Northridge Summit is coming to a close, elite militants are making their debut! In Covert Ops mode, players have a chance to become elite militants and wreak havoc in the Dark Zone!

Event Description:
1. Each time your covert ops is reset, there’s a chance to get upgraded to an elite militant. Elite militants are mostly the same as normal militants, but they can enter Lockdown Zones.
2. After resetting as an elite militant, there will be a prompt on the mode selection screen where you can choose the elite militant role. When you join a team as an elite militant, "Elite Militant" will appear in front of your name.
3. If you're not lucky enough to become an elite militant yourself, keep an eye out to see if other players have sent you a Covert Ops team invitation so you can follow them into the Lockdown Zone.
4. Elite militants run on the same cooldown and refresh times as normal militants. Use your elite militant before it’s gone!
